Travel Nurse RN - Registered Nurse First Assistant - $2,325 per week in Mauston, WI

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in preparing and organizing sterile supplies, instruments, equipment, and drapes for surgical procedures
• Assist with patient positioning to ensure a safe surgical experience
• Provide visualization and utilize appropriate techniques to assist with hemostasis during operative procedures
• Assist with closure of body planes and application of appropriate wound dressings
• Assist in inserting and securing drainage systems to tissue
• Safely operate surgical equipment and supplies including pneumatic tourniquets, electrocautery, and endoscopy equipment

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program or other recognized first-assisting education program
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1 or more years of operating room or surgical nursing experience
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures
