Description: Position is for a First Assist in the operating room. The unit consists of 29 beds with patient ratios of 1:1. Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. Expected to work with normal operating room equipment, including 5 robots for Da Vinci surgery, Mako, and Velys. Documentation will be done using a specified electronic system. Scheduling is flexible, and call coverage is required. Floating to other areas may be necessary as per policy. Desired candidates should possess advanced skills for a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic trauma, neuro, orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, general surgery, robotics, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, oral-maxillofacial, and eye trauma.
