Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (5x8s) or 7:00 AM-5:30 PM (4x10s) | On-call rotation shared with 5 other RNs on weekends | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Assist with and monitor patients undergoing invasive interventional radiology procedures
- Perform and manage conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist
- Monitor and document patient vitals throughout procedures, maintaining a 1:1 patient-to-RN ratio
- Operate and work alongside imaging equipment including Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machines
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment alongside Technologists and fellow RNs
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Comfort and competency performing conscious sedation under radiologist supervision
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation shared among a team of RNs
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
- Background working in an Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Confident, team-oriented clinical approach with experience working alongside multidisciplinary staff
