Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse Overview
- Exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging
- Specializes in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound
- Team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized candidates are encouraged to explore this role
- Good communication skills and the ability to critically think are essential
- Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
Schedule
- 4x10-hour shifts
- Monday-Saturday, Day/Evening
- Weekday and weekend on-call requirements
- Holiday coverage per unit needs
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Telemetry experience required
Licensure
- New York RN license required (New York ONLY)
Required Certifications
- BLS - American Heart Association ONLY
- ACLS - American Heart Association ONLY
Dress Code & Infection Prevention
- Will be required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops
- Additional infection prevention measures required when working in procedural areas
