Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Travel RN - Pediatric Psych | Day Shift
Position Requirements
Minimum 2 years of specialty work experience
Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
At least 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience
Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
BLS certification required
Valid Ohio or Compact RN license
Fully vaccinated, including COVID-19 (no exemptions accepted)
2 manager references from the past 12 months
Schedule
Day shift
Every other weekend and holidays required
Block scheduling not guaranteed; weekend-only blocks (Friday-Sunday) may be requested
RTO must be submitted with the profile; maximum 5 days
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with bipolar, anxiety, eating, psychotic, and depressive disorders
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) training
Previous charge nurse experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to children and adolescents in a secured behavioral health unit
Administer medications and perform nursing interventions
Support admissions, discharges, and patient rounds
Facilitate therapeutic groups and recreational activities
Perform safety checks and 1:1 patient supervision
Assist with daily living activities and patient/family education
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Additional Requirements
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to lift 25 lbs and participate in physical holds/restraints
TCI training provided within the first month of the contract
Previous CCHMC employees are ineligible for contract positions for one year after their termination date
