Travel RN – Assessment Specialist / Behavioral Health Intake
 

Facility: Highland Springs
Shift: Nights | 3:00 PM–3:30 AM | Fri–Sun
Hours: 36/week
Contract: 13 weeks
 

Must Have

• OH RN license
• 1+ year RN experience
• BLS
• HWC
• Behavioral/Mental Health understanding
• Must recognize mental health as an illness
• Comfortable working with behavioral health patients
• Compassionate and proactive approach

Patient Population

• Adults ages 18–99
• 24-bed unit
• Ratio: 1:4
• Common diagnoses:
  • Detox
  • Depression
  • Psychosis

Responsibilities

• Behavioral health intake/assessment
• Recognize and respond appropriately to mental health needs
• Work compassionately with patients
• Remain calm and professional with patient comments/behaviors
• Stay proactive during downtime

Schedule

• Friday–Sunday, 3:00 PM–3:30 AM
• Every other weekend/as needed
• No call
• Float as needed

Other Requirements

• Local candidates: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Local rate: $72
• Scrubs: Navy blue or business casual
• No hoodies
