Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team specializing in Behavioral Health. This role focuses on providing exceptional care to children, adolescents, and adults in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients across all age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically using Epic.
• Participate in Continuous Professional Improvement (CPI) training and apply strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
• May be required to assume charge nurse responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license at the time of application.
• A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of recent experience in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health nursing is required.
• Must be available to work every other weekend (EOW).
• Must be open to working with a diverse patient population.
• Travel may be required; candidates should be prepared for potential travel assignments.

Schedule

The position involves night shifts, typically three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30.

Additional Information

This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with on-site leadership available, including a shift supervisor and nurse manager. The position may include interactions with senior staff members who are on call.
