Weekly Gross Travel Rate: $1,810.72
Weekly Gross Local Rate: $1,620
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years recent psychiatric nursing experience
- Comfortable working in a busy, acute mental health setting
- Ability to float between units and handle a diverse patient population
- Strong skills in patient assessments, medication passing, and documentation
- Competency in handling difficult situations, including potential aggression and the safe use of physical holds
- Adaptable team player with excellent communication and crisis management skills
- Physical ability to perform clinical duties in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in Handle with Care (or willing to obtain onsite)
- Experience with adult mental health in an acute care setting
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 2 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience in a high-acuity setting
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work any night of the week, including weekends and holidays during winter season
- Ability to handle physical interventions when necessary
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
