Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Geriatric Behavioral Health Facility Type/Setting: Hospital – Geriatric Behavioral Health 
Facility/Location: Athens, TN 37303 
Shift & Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM 
Weekly Hours: 36 
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed 

Candidates must live at least 60 miles away. Call/Weekend/Holiday Requirements: No call; 24 weekend hours required. No floating.

Requirements:

• Active RN license valid for practice in Tennessee.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Must have experience caring for patients with dementia.
• BLS and HWC certifications required before start.
• Calm demeanor and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients with dementia and behavioral disturbances.
• Assist physicians in caring for patients experiencing behavioral or psychiatric crises.
• Assess patient conditions and monitor progress with treatment.
• Maintain patient safety and coordinate care with the clinical team.
