Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health nursing
• Comfort working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Experience with paper charting preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient behavioral health environment
• Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients with behavioral health and mental health needs
• Monitor patients receiving detoxification, inpatient psychiatric, and residential-level care
• Support individualized care plans focused on stabilization, recovery, and discharge planning
• Deliver age-appropriate psychiatric nursing care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Document patient status accurately using paper charting workflows
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain a therapeutic and supportive environment
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs while maintaining a calm, professional presence
