Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Nursing experience within the last year
• Comfort working with all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills
• Experience with paper charting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in an acute inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health setting
• Support stabilization, recovery, and individualized treatment planning
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and communicate changes promptly
• Participate in therapeutic interventions and care planning with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
• Collaborate with the care team to help patients progress to the next level of care
• Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care to individuals experiencing mental health, mood, and behavioral disorders
