Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to a diverse behavioral health patient population including adolescents (ages 8+), adults, and seniors across varying acuity levels
- Support patients on adult IDD units and physical rehabilitation units as part of a blended care environment
- Float to all units as needed to meet facility staffing demands
- Apply Handle with Care techniques in the management of behavioral health patients requiring de-escalation or intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered psychiatric care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or compact eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in an inpatient setting
- BLS certification required
- Handle with Care certification required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement
- Must be available to float to all units - no blocked booking
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with adolescent and pediatric behavioral health populations
- Background in IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) nursing care
- Experience managing both high-acuity and low-acuity psychiatric patients
