POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Procedural & Surgical Services provides 24-hour leadership oversight for:
- Operating Room (OR)
- Pre-Operative Services
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
- Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
This leader is accountable for clinical quality, patient safety, employee engagement, physician collaboration, financial stewardship, operational performance, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License or eligibility for licensure
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in perioperative services
- Experience managing:
- Operating Room (OR)
- Cath Lab
- Pre-Operative Services
- Surgical Services Operations
- Demonstrated success in:
- Clinical operations management
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Staffing and workforce planning
- Budgeting and financial management
- Strong leadership, communication, and physician relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- CNOR or other relevant specialty certification
- Experience leading multidisciplinary surgical teams within an acute care hospital environment

- Lead, mentor, and develop perioperative leadership teams and clinical staff
- Oversee daily operations to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
