Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 12-week assignment Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing may substitute for one year of experience. License: Must possess and maintain a Registered Nurse license. Certifications: None specified. Must-Have: Knowledge of nursing principles, medications, assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral health concepts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Description: This position is accountable for providing specialized professional nursing care involving direct nursing care of individuals. The incumbent functions as an independent practitioner responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of nursing care while collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams. Independently develops, implements, and evaluates nursing and health care plans. Provides nursing consultation within assigned specialty programs. Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments. Provides admission and discharge nursing assessments, including plans for continuing care. Maintains accurate clinical records and prepares required reports. Provides nursing services in compliance with applicable regulations and accreditation standards. Maintains records of stored and secured medications. Ensures controlled substances are properly stored, administered, and ordered. Independently manages and provides direct care to patients and individuals. Participates in individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate. Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary team in treatment planning and evaluation. Manages an assigned caseload and other clinical activities. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient care. May participate in home visits and crisis intervention activities. May share clinical knowledge and best practices. Performs related duties as required.
