TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Psych RN in Springfield, Vermont, 05156!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Psychiatry – Vermont

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Springfield, Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time assignment with every other weekend rotation. Holiday coverage required; must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving period, Christmas period, and New Year's period. No block scheduling available.

  • 10-bed inpatient psychiatric unit serving adults 18 years and older from Vermont and surrounding regions
  • Critical access facility environment providing essential mental health services to the community
  • Collaborative care model with referrals from crisis teams, emergency departments, and outpatient providers
  • Comprehensive orientation provided on-site
  • Limited requested time off available (maximum 5 days; must be documented at time of application)
  • Reliable personal transportation required
Requirements:
  • Current Vermont RN license (required at time of submission)
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
  • 2+ years of current psychiatric nursing experience (required)
  • Current phlebotomy experience with demonstrated competency in blood draws (required)
  • ACLS and CPI certifications strongly preferred
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Critical access or small facility experience preferred
  • Completed skills checklists for RN/Psychiatry and Phlebotomy (current within 1 year)
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
