Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in patients’ clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors, managers, and coworkers as appropriate. Participating in the discharge planning process will also be part of your responsibilities. Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program is required. You must have a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and BCLS certification. A minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required.
