This position involves caring for adults 18 and over with a history of legal issues. You will work in a state-of-the-art behavioral health unit with experienced staff. The team includes an internal medical group to address all medical concerns. You will be part of a full team of rehabilitation staff for group programming. Your responsibilities will include passing medications utilizing an automated medication system. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 9 patients. The patient population consists of individuals with diagnoses including Bipolar disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, Major Depression, and chronic medical conditions. You will be expected to provide trauma-informed and compassionate care. Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing patient needs are essential.
