Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments such as schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety
Willingness to work with both adult and pediatric patients
Description:
As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors, managers, and coworkers as appropriate.
You will participate in the discharge planning process.
You must have graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program.
You are required to hold a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
BCLS Certification is mandatory, and ACLS certification is preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required.
