License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS required; PALS preferred. Must-Have: - 2 years of pediatric nursing experience - Experience in child psychiatry Description: The position involves working with children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, addressing a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses. Responsibilities include treating conditions such as psychosis, major depression, suicidality, attention-deficit disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, catatonia, and autism. Candidate will rotate between the pediatric acute inpatient unit and the psychiatric emergency room as needed. Expectation to work every other weekend and as needed during holidays. On-call duties will include two 8-hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, according to the schedule. Additional responsibilities may include floating to different areas as needed, based on skill set. Experience with level 3 autism is a plus. Travel experience and familiarity with EPIC are preferred.
