Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting during night shift hours
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for psychiatric patients
Monitor patient behavior and mental status, intervening as clinically appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska or a compact state license
Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
Ability to work night shift as scheduled
Must meet facility performance expectations throughout the duration of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience with psychiatric crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
