All staff must adhere to unit protocols concerning patient care. Physical ability to manage imminent patient needs or risks is essential. Travelers may be expected to float to other units as necessary. Compliance with unit policies and procedures is mandatory. This role requires strong skills in de-escalation techniques and managing assaultive behavior. All staff will receive training in the specific practices and requirements of the unit.
