Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated SMH Level 1 RN specializing in Psychiatry to join their team on Unit 3900. This travel role offers a dynamic working environment where you will conduct intake assessments, plan and provide nursing care, and work in collaboration with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff.

Key Responsibilities of the SMH Level 1 RN Psych- Conducts intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives
- Plans and provides nursing care for patients
- Makes nursing diagnosis and recommends treatment options
- Consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral staff for treatment plans
- Administers and notes reactions to medications
- Arranges further medical attention when necessary
- Assists clients in understanding and accepting the need for treatment
- Maintains safe and secure environment for staff and patients
- Tests for vital signs of pain and ensures treatments
- Documents patient information on medical charts
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Maintains accurate records of patient treatments and results
- Performs administrative assignments and provides high-quality service
Requirements of the SMH Level 1 RN Psych- NY License ONLY
- BLS Certification (AHA) ONLY
- Minimum 2 years experience
