Description:
Float pool nurses should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Candidates will need to have at least 6 months to 1 year in a Psych/Behavioral health setting.
Float nurses will cover various inpatient units including pediatric, adolescent, and adult age groups.
Candidates will demonstrate solid clinical judgement and assessment skills.
Delegation and leadership qualities are essential for this role.
RNs may be required to work as a charge RN during a shift, without an additional pay bump for those hours.
This facility has a strong stance against accepting medical marijuana cards in support of addiction treatment facilities.
All candidates must pass a drug screen on the first attempt to continue with onboarding.
Floating to all age populations is expected when scheduling requires.
Candidates must submit any time-off requests in advance and they must be pre-approved.
Fingerprinting must be done in the designated state prior to starting.
