Description:
This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health.
The position involves night shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with weekends and holidays as assigned.
The facility is newly opened and provides acute inpatient care for mental health and behavioral disorders.
Candidates should have prior experience working with restraints.
Patient population includes adults, geriatric patients, and adolescents.
Staffing ratios may vary, with a standard of 1 nurse to 20 patients depending on acuity.
Documentation is completed using an electronic medical record system as well as paper charting for restraint use.
Medications are managed through an onsite pharmacy, which operates 24/7.
De-escalation training is provided during the orientation period.
This position is located in a metro area near recreational facilities and scenic attractions.
