Key Responsibilities of the RN - Psych - Travel- Provide care to adult patients with acute psychiatric conditions
- Work effectively in both high acuity and supportive environments
- Manage patient interactions including verbal deescalation and physical holds when necessary
- Administer IM injections as required
- Comfortably collaborate with new doctors, including residents
- Participate in unit operations and patient safety protocols
Requirements of the RN - Psych - Travel- Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role
- BLS certification
- CPI training (obtainable on-site)
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication dispensing
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and case managers
