REQUIREMENTS
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of nursing operations, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications
  • Ability to effectively lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide 24-hour operational and clinical oversight of assigned nursing units
  • Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Lead nursing staff recruitment, retention, performance management, and professional development
  • Monitor departmental performance, quality indicators, and patient outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support patient safety and risk management efforts
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
