Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health.
The role involves working with patients in a geropsychiatric environment.
Staffing ratios can be as high as 1:9.
Candidates must be prepared to engage with psych/behavioral patients.
A de-escalation certificate is highly preferred, but it can be obtained during onboarding.
Working weekends and holidays may be required depending on unit needs.
All nurses must have current, relevant work history as specified.
Attention to detail and ability to manage stressful situations is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role.
