**Job Description:**

- **Unit Names:** ADOL, Serenity, ITU, SRAD, VINE
- **General Information:**
- **Number of Beds:**
- ADOL: 18
- Serenity: 24
- ITU: 32
- SRAD: 16
- VINE: 9
- **Patient Ratios:** Nurses 8:1, MHTs 12:1
- **Patient Demographics:**
- ADOL: Ages 12-18
- Serenity: Lower acuity adults
- ITU: Higher acuity adults (thought disorders)
- SRAD: Senior lifestyle patients
- VINE: Lower acuity adults
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- Three 12-hour shifts daily, including weekends
- Days off are not guaranteed unless specified
- **Floating Policy:** C/L utilized at greatest need
- **Patient Experience Standards:**
- Adhere to ICARE values: Integrity, Compassion, Always, Respect
- Implement AIDET practices: Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You
- **Hiring Profile:**
- **Skills Required:**
- Assess mental health status and recognize psychiatric disorders
- Develop individualized care plans
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor side effects
- Crisis intervention for immediate support in crisis situations
- Advanced therapeutic communication skills
- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- Monitor physical and psychological symptoms including vital signs and medication effects
- **Certifications Required:** BLS, CPI
- **Dress Code:**
- Nurses wear blue; MHTs wear green or black uniforms
