Staffing consists of a charge RN and RNs, along with mental health technicians. Patient ratios vary from 7 to 10. Equipment used includes oxygen and Dinamap. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include behavioral health assessments, medication administration, admissions, and discharges. A team player personality is essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include Med/Surg experience and experience with higher acuity populations. Staff may float to all areas within the adult and child/adolescent divisions. Weekends are required every other week, with no on-call responsibilities.
