Key Responsibilities
Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to patients during night shift hours in an inpatient setting
Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Float to other units as needed within scope of practice
Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including vaccination requirements and scheduling expectations
Maintain current AHA BLS and CPI certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license - Kentucky state license or valid Compact license required at time of submission; no exceptions
Minimum 2 years of current, recent psychiatric nursing experience required
AHA BLS certification required
CPI certification required
Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Meditech EMR systems
Experience floating across units within a psychiatric or behavioral health environment
Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and documentation requirements
