Position Overview
- Child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit serving patients ages 5–18 experiencing acute mental health crises
- Unit focus is on stabilization through robust group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions
- RNs work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care
- Seeking candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry
Required Qualifications
- NYS RN License
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
Preferred Qualifications
- CPI blue card
- Experience in a large, academic medical center
