Description:
Position requires a 32-hour work week.
Possible schedules include four 8-hour shifts or two 12-hour shifts combined with one 8-hour shift.
If working 8-hour shifts, hours may be from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Every third weekend will be required.
Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate.
COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
Flu vaccination is also required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
Previous charge experience is preferred, along with experience in a community hospital setting.
Trauma Level I and II experience is not specified.
Candidate must have experience with the following skills:
antianxiety medications, antidepressants, antipsychotics, anxiety disorders, behavior management techniques, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, medication administration, and self-injurious behavior.
Experience with psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia-spectrum disorders and mood stabilizers is also necessary.
Findings show that patient ratios are four during the day and six during the night.
The daily census is typically 12, with a capacity of 16 beds.
Interdisciplinary support is available from teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support.
Professional references from two of the last three places worked must be verified, ensuring they are from different facilities.
