The unit primarily serves patients with autism and other developmental disabilities. Applicants with experience in high acuity settings are preferred. The role may require acting as charge nurse during shifts without additional pay. RNs will be expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs. The patient ratio is typically 6:1 across various shifts. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred. The average length of stay for patients is between 2 weeks to 2 years. All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening prior to onboarding.
