Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to patients across all age groups, including children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-17), adults, and seniors (ages 65+)
• Support a reopening inpatient behavioral health unit, delivering acute and short-term stabilization care
• Utilize paper charting for documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and clinical notes
• Care for patients presenting with behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders
• Participate in detoxification and inpatient residential levels of care as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience (within the last year) in Behavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing
• Willingness and ability to work with all age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Proficiency with paper charting
• Availability to work every other weekend as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple levels of psychiatric care, including detoxification and inpatient residential settings
• Familiarity with age-appropriate programming and individualized care planning in a behavioral health environment
• Experience with acute, short-term stabilization care models
