Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN for a 120-bed Geri-Psych unit on a travel contract. This role involves BH admissions and discharges, opportunities to serve as a Lead RN resource (classes provided), and potential floating to other inpatient adult BH units. Patient ratios are approximately 1:8-9 (Days and Nights, estimated and not guaranteed). The unit uses Meditech EMR and Welch Allyn vital sign machines. This is a 3x Magnet-designated facility with a strong team-oriented, family-style culture.
