Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: RN Psych Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 AM - 7 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psych License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Open to working with all ages including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors Description: Must be open to all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. This is a 13-week RN contract for a reopening unit. There is a 36-hour work guarantee. The candidate must work every other weekend. The minimum requirement is one year of recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psych. Experience with paper charting is necessary. The facility provides acute inpatient care. The ages treated range from children (ages 5-12) to seniors (ages 65+). Disorders treated include behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders. Levels of care include detoxification, inpatient, and residential. Each patient benefits from personalized planning, comprehensive services, and age-appropriate programming. Inpatient programs focus on acute, short-term care to promote stabilization. The goal is to prepare patients to return home or step down to a lower level of care.
