Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population including adolescents (ages 8+), adults, and seniors across varying acuity levels
- Float to all units as needed, including adult IDD units and physical rehabilitation units
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care within an inpatient behavioral health environment serving both high and low acuity patients
- Apply Handle with Care techniques and de-escalation strategies as appropriate to patient needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in an inpatient setting
- BLS certification required
- Handle with Care certification required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with adolescent and geriatric psychiatric populations
- Familiarity with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) patient care
- Comfort and flexibility working across multiple units and care settings
