Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population including adolescents (ages 8+), adults, and seniors across varying acuity levels
• Float to all units as needed, including adult IDD units and physical rehabilitation units
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care within an inpatient behavioral health environment serving both high and low acuity patients
• Apply Handle with Care techniques and de-escalation strategies as appropriate to patient needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience in an inpatient setting
• BLS certification required
• Handle with Care certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adolescent and geriatric psychiatric populations
• Familiarity with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) patient care
• Comfort and flexibility working across multiple units and care settings
