License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS required. Must-Have: - 18 months of permanent experience in a short-term acute care hospital. - Recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty. Description: The position requires expertise in milieu management and medication management. Candidates should have strong assessment and documentation skills. All requirements listed are non-negotiable. Applicants should have recent behavioral health experience in an acute care setting. References must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months. Active certifications must be in hand at the time of application. Additional assessments will be completed during orientation. Candidates with open background cases will not be considered. A nicotine-free requirement applies to all travelers, except for nurses. All candidates must complete necessary background checks within a specified timeframe. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required break before returning. Annual modules are required and may be billable up to a specified number of hours.
