Description:
Must be willing to float to adult patients, pending census.
Unit Information:
Number of beds: 29
Number of staff: 14-24
Typical care team includes doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychiatric technicians, and social workers or therapists.
Day shift includes a Director and 5-6 RNs, along with CNAs and LPNs.
Night shift consists of a Charge RN, 3-4 RNs, and multiple on-call staff.
Patient ratios are 1:1 or 2:1.
Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech.
Nursing staff should possess critical thinking skills and a compassionate demeanor.
Experience in patient care and excellent bedside manner are required.
Candidates must be willing to go above and beyond in their duties.
Dress code allows travelers to wear scrubs or street clothes in the unit.
