Schedule / Job TypeContract | PRN | 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) | Weekends Only (Saturday & Sunday)
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the needs and safety of youth in residential behavioral health care
- Administer and manage medication passes for assigned patients
- Round with the physician and participate in care planning activities
- Assist with physical or chemical restraints as clinically indicated, in accordance with facility protocols
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in Arkansas or a valid Multistate/Compact RN license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required - may be obtained at the facility if not currently held
- Minimum of 1-2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience
- Experience working with pediatric or youth populations in a behavioral health setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a residential behavioral health or inpatient psychiatric environment
- Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Experience with restraint protocols and associated clinical documentation
