The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients experiencing mental health conditions. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining accurate and detailed records of care. The nurse will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective treatment plans. Patient education regarding mental health management, medication compliance, and coping strategies is an essential component of this role. The nurse will participate in crisis intervention and utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. The role requires a high level of empathy, professionalism, and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
