Description:
Evening/Night shifts available, with every other weekend and some holidays required.
Manager will accept 4x12 schedules and weekend block scheduling.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Experience with Monitoring Service/Telemetry is necessary.
Nursing interventions may include arterial and central line management, IV protocols, and more.
The unit cares for vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiology patients.
You will encounter a diverse patient population, including those undergoing abdominal and thoracic surgeries.
Responsibilities include administering blood products, managing feeding tubes, and ensuring patient comfort.
Work in a team-focused environment that engages patients in their care plans.
Utilization of evidence-based practices is encouraged.
All travelers will be required to complete a telemetry test prior to beginning their assignment.
The telemetry exam must meet strict passing criteria for continued placement.
