Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $3,035 per week in Potsdam, NY

Required Skills: Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management, post-MI care, insulin and heparin protocols, cardiac drips, central/PICC lines, IV starts, blood administration, CVA, seizures, renal failure, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, wound care, and orthopedic trauma. Patient Population: PCU, MS Tele, medical-surgical, surgical pre/post-op, ENT, general surgery, trauma, orthopedic surgery, and medical overflow.

Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 50 Leroy St Potsdam, NY 13676
Schedule: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00p - 07:00a)

• Experience: Minimum 1 year; PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years required

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS and TCAR preferred

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Local Candidates: Not accepted; must live more than 50 miles away

• Ratios: Days/weekends 1:3–5; nights 1:3–7, adjusted by acuity

• Schedule: Every other weekend

• RTO: Maximum 7 days

• Floating: Required to sister units — West 2, West 3, and Observation

• Patient Population: PCU, MS Tele, medical-surgical, surgical pre/post-op, ENT, general surgery, trauma, orthopedic surgery, and medical overflow
