The unit primarily provides medical and post-surgical care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic patient populations. Responsibilities include managing various medical devices and treatments. Nurses will be expected to handle cardiac telemetry, central line care, and hemodialysis management. Teamwork and interdisciplinary support are essential in this role. The nurse will work with various healthcare professionals, including physical therapy and pharmacy staff. Applicants should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage high patient loads. Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred. Candidates must adhere to safety protocols and provide high-quality patient care. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to cover shifts as needed is important.
