- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- Vent experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Must be able to start IVs
- Nurses must be fitted for N95 before working unless PAPR is needed
- EPIC experience required
Description:
Winter jobs available for 13 or 18 weeks.
Must be able to work every other holiday.
The unit specializes in patients with burn injuries, muscle flaps, and head and neck surgeries.
This population includes both ICU and advanced care.
Travel nurses are utilized in the critical care population.
Wound nurses complete the extensive burn wound dressings.
Agency nurses will not be asked to perform burn dressings.
Team nursing models may be used, where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients.
This model aims to divide the work without splitting patient assignments, improving both workload and patient care.
Floating may be required, and the traveler will float to clinically appropriate assignments.
Availability is required for every other weekend and holiday.
Travelers may float to other facilities nearby based on skill sets and census needs.
Maximum of 14 days of requested time off allowed per contract.
Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions or special requests.
Epic is required for all inpatient nursing roles.
Failure to disclose previous employment details may negatively impact the candidate.
