Shifts are 4x12 days with a daily patient ratio of 1:4. The nurse will work every other weekend. There will be no on-call requirements. The clinician may float as needed within their scope to meet facility needs. A fast-paced environment is expected with a high patient throughput. The unit supports diverse patient diagnoses. Nurses are encouraged to utilize interdisciplinary support services during patient care. Candidates should possess robust cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, neurological, orthopedic, plastic surgery, and respiratory skill sets. Cerner experience and teaching hospital background are preferred. This is a Magnet facility with a total of 562 staffed beds.
