Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week; IMCU setting with 10-16 bed capacity; nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4

Highlights:

  • Comprehensive case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
  • Experience with Heparin drips and advanced medical management required
  • Intermediate care setting bridging ICU and med-surg acuity levels
  • Immediate start date available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU, Stepdown, or comparable acute care experience
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
