Schedule: Medical Step Down Unit | 6–20 bed unit | Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4 | Possible float to other Intermediate Care units as needed
Highlights:
- Work in a dynamic Medical Step Down environment caring for a diverse patient population
- Manage complex conditions including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
- Consistent nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 supporting quality care delivery
- Opportunity to float to other Intermediate Care units (5J and 12A most common) to enhance clinical skills

Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license (or eligibility for compact licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or step down setting
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
