Description:
This position is approved for travelers.
The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1.
There is availability of unit secretaries and tech support.
Equipment used includes Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lifts, Sarah Steady Lifts, telemetry, bladder scanners, and Dopplers.
Documentation is managed through Meditech.
The scheduling requirements include 3 shifts per week and 3-4 weekend shifts.
Agency and contract staff will be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency.
Patient experience requirements include telemetry and stroke.
Advanced skills required are cardiac drips and basic dysthymia.
No specific procedures are performed on the unit.
